In-Service Intelligences Workshop
Burhani Nursery & Primary School in Tanga, Tanzania, hosted four visiting volunteer arts educators or six days between July 6-July 16 to demonstrate state of the art teaching techniques using hands-on methods.  Additionlly, a one-week workshop on Whole Brain Theory, Multiple Intelligences, Teaching-Learning Styles, Arts Integration, and Alternative Assessment Methods took place for staff members from Burhani School and guests from other schools.

Creativity flowed from rainbow fish
Thirty nursery school students participated in the pilot program in visual art creating artworks in a variety of media based on the book 'Rainbow Fish'.

One hundred fourteen primary grade students, and faculty and guest educators participated in activities involving visual art and singing and playing music recorders.  Students were enthusiastic and willingly engaged throughout the week in the cross-curricular process of the integrating the arts with other discipline areas.

Activities culminated with art products being displayed at an all school assembly with parents and administrators.
