Over 120 primary grade students and their faculty at Salei Primary School in Arusha, Tanzania, participated in visual art and music activities with volunteer arts educators from July 19-23, 2010. Volunteers from the Arusha Women Artist's Network (AWAN) also assisted with the activities to gain experience in continuing such activities at the school and in the community.

Visual art activities were demonstrated by arts administrator, Martin Nagy, executive director of the Arts Council Lake Erie West based in Toledo, Ohio.
